4 NEMWeb Platform Migration
4.1 Goal
We are migrating the platform supporting NEMWeb on Tuesday 21 April 2026 (TBC To be confirmed). While we aim to make these updates seamlessly, you may notice a brief service interruption on the day of the migration.
4.2 URL change
To improve platform security, all existing connections using HTTP must switch to HTTPS Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure, adds the security capabilities of SSL to standard HTTP communications.. See Decommissioning HTTP support.
4.3 Case sensitive URLs
The NEMWeb platform migration introduces case‑sensitive URLs for accessing data. We are not changing any report names or cases but enforcing case sensitivity. Update any tools or scripts that do not preserve file name case, so they keep working after the transition. A patch for pdrBatcher Software responsible for transferring files to and from AEMO's participant file server to the participant's local Data Interchange folders. It can be installed in any environment supporting Java. v7.6.1 supporting case-sensitive URLs is available on Thursday 26 February 2026. See Updated pdrBatcher.
