6 Updated pdrBatcher

A patch for pdrBatcher Software responsible for transferring files to and from AEMO's participant file server to the participant's local Data Interchange folders. It can be installed in any environment supporting Java. v7.6.1 supporting case-sensitive ULRs is available on Thursday 26 February 2026. Apply this patch to keep automated downloads working during and after the transition.

6.1 What you need to do

• If you use pdrBatcher v7.6.1 to download from NEMWeb, apply the new patch when it is published on Thursday 26 February 2026. AEMO sends a notification email once the patch is available.

• If you are using an earlier version of pdrBatcher, you must:

  • Upgrade to pdrBatcher v7.6.1

  • Apply the pdrBatcher v7.6.1.x patch published on Thursday 26 February 2026. More details of the patch version and implementation instructions are published on the day.

• Update any other tools or scripts that do not preserve the exact case of NEMWeb filenames, so they fetch files using the correct filename case after the platform transition.

Update your configurations to use HTTPS before upgrading your pdrBatcher application.

6.2 Impact if you do not change

Older pdrBatcher versions will not reliably download files after the NEMWeb platform transition.
