Use

Type 22 – Prospective Average Like Day

The MDP substitutes missing or erroneous metering data using the average like day method

Type 23 – Previous Year

Using the metering data from the nearest equivalent day or like day from the same, or similar, Meter Reading period in the previous year

Type 24 – Data Scaling

Apply a multiplier value to scale any affected erroneous actual meter reading data either up or down to reflect missing or over-estimated registration

Type 25 – Average Daily Load (ADL)

Where no other option is available, the substituted period is calculated based on Average Daily Load which may or may not be profiled

Removed Substitution type

From the 4 November 2024, MDPs must not use Substitution A process undertaken for the replacement of missing (null) or erroneous accumulated metering data or interval metering data where metering data has failed Validation. Type 16.
