Gas Transparency Measures

Goal

Gas Bulletin Board (GBB) stakeholders want easy access and to utilise information on the GBB to understand the short-term forecast of the demand-supply balance. This project’s aim is to address two key elements of the NGL National Gas Law and NGR National Gas Rules. The rules made under the NGL. They govern access to natural gas pipeline services and elements of broader natural gas markets.:

  1. Changes to the Gas Statement of Opportunities (GSOO), strengthening AEMO’s information gathering.
  2. Changes to the Gas Bulletin Board, incorporating additional GSOO information.
