The release enables AEMO Australian Energy Market Operator to determine and communicate inverter limits to affected Inverter‑Based Resource (IBR) participants through existing dispatch Energy Rules Terms and pre-dispatch processes. This initiative supports secure operation of an IBR‑dominated power system by reducing manual, phone‑based instructions and providing participants with electronic inverter limit information for timely operational responses.
