5 Settlements, Billing, and Invoicing

5.1 Transitional changes

The transitional changes are targeted for December 2025 ahead of the SSC release:

• AEMO Australian Energy Market Operator publishes the updated NEM Market Calendar on the Settlement calendars page on the AEMO website. The updated calendar includes updated prelim and final posting dates, payment dates and the R0 revsion statement posting date.

5.2 Settlements, billing, and invoicing updates

The updates to the Settlements See Relevant Rules or Procedures and Billing stream includes the following:

• Extend the Settlements, Billing and Invoicing to include the R0 revision.
• All NEM reports include and publish Energy Rules Terms the Revision 0, similar to Revision 1 and Revision 2. All reports in Settlements Direct include Revision 0 for participants to subscribe from Markets portal > Settlements Direct and NEMWeb.
  • Public reports available to everyone:
    • Settlements reports – add a R0 section in the report similar to R1.
    • 
    • Daily_reports
    • Ancillary_services_reports
  • AEMO website must be updated for the below:
    • AS Payments and recovery reporting: AEMO | Ancillary Services Payments and Recovery
    • MMS data model
