5 Decommissioning HTTP support

To improve platform security, NEMWeb switches to HTTPS Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure, adds the security capabilities of SSL to standard HTTP communications. on Tuesday 7 April 2026. All existing connections using HTTP must switch to HTTPS.

5.1 Directory case sensitivity

When accessing NEMWeb through HTTPS, all directory and file paths are case-sensitive. You must ensure all configured URLs matches the folder name case in the NEMWeb directory listing.

5.2 What you need to do

Switch all links to HTTPS by Tuesday 7 April 2026. If any scripts, tools, or bookmarks still use http:// change them to https:// so they continue to work when HTTP is retired.

5.3 Impact if you do not change

If you continue using HTTP after Tuesday 7 April 2026, your requests will block and downloads fail.
