Publishing actual intermittent generators (SCADA) availability data

AEMO Australian Energy Market Operator added the INTERMITTENT_GEN_SCADA Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition. A system that gathers real-time data from remote terminal units and other communication sources in the field and enables operators to control field devices from their consoles. table as part of the EMMS Data Model 5.2 - May 2023 release. This table contains actual plant Energy Rules Terms availability data for each intermittent generator, published on a dispatch Energy Rules Terms interval basis.

The data is already available in the pre-production environment for testing as required. The INTERMITTENT_GEN_SCADA table is populated with data in the production environment from 13 August 2024.

Subscriptions

AEMO automatically subscribed participants to the private file INTERMITTENT_GEN_SCADA as part of the May 2023 release. Participants with Intermittent Generators Energy Rules Terms receive data for the new INTERMITTENT_GEN_SCADA table privately in real-time.

Participants can also subscribe to an optional public file NEXT_DAY_INTERMITTENT_GEN_SCADA containing the data for all Intermittent Generators See Relevant Rules or Procedures published the following day. The NEXT_DAY_INTERMITTENT_GEN_SCADA public file is also be available for download from NEMweb.
